Roundboy is more than just a brick oven

Your Roundboy Oven is so much more than an oven. It's a beautiful addition to your home, patio, barn, and more! It brings families and friends together. Most importantly, it makes amazing meals with an incredible taste! Owners of Roundboy Ovens are coming up with new and exciting recipes and things to do with their ovens week by week! What will you come up with?

Karl recently transformed an antique hay rake into a chandelier for his family's barn as his latest project.

His wife, Lisa, is one step closer to turning the barn into a dining room for Thanksgiving dinner later this year! "Fingers crossed for the fireplace to heat it and a big dining room table," Lisa exclaimed!

Their plan is to cook their turkey in their Roundboy Oven and bring their closest friends and family together for the holiday. Everyone will bring a side dish and they will celebrate Thanksgiving in the barn!

"I am so pleased with his idea of making a  chandelier out of the hay rake," Lisa said. "The rake was left sitting in the woods by the previous owner."

Currently, Karl and Lisa are taking votes on using candles or electrifying the chandelier... What's your vote?!

Soft-shells, oysters, shrimp, pizza, galore!

One of our proud Roundboy Oven owners had an amazing Memorial Day Party that we needed to share!

Ronald used a cast iron skillet. He started with his soft-shell crab in an egg-wash then put them into his fish fry batter. The griddle he used had oil on it and he put oil onto the soft-shell. After flipping the soft-shell once it was done in about 3 minutes. After that, Ronald pulled the soft-shell out, covered it in cheese, and put it back in for roughly 35 seconds. After removing it from the heat, he mounted it on a soft roll lathered in his pickled cabbage coleslaw and some of his homemade thousand island dressing.

Let the prepping begin!

"I also char-grilled the oysters in there too along with the BBQ shrimp boil."

"It was my birthday. I fed 60 people 4 dozens soft-shells, 200 oysters, and 60 lb of shrimp. We had 20 lbs of flour for pizza. What a day! Not to mention the meats too!"

Caramelized Onion Pizza & S'mores!

Karl planted corn early as a test to see if he can outsmart a frost! He covered it with plastic. Fingers crossed we will have early corn on the cob to roast in the oven. He also planted Ailsa Craig onions that are so sweet you can eat them like an apple. They were the inspiration for the caramelized onion pizza we made.

We baked everything below in a new oven design we hope to launch soon! Stay tuned!

We also baked a sausage and sweet pepper pizza that we top after we take out of the oven with hot pepper honey. Check out the video we made here to hear the wonderful crunch of the pizza crust as we cut it!

To top off the evening, we made s'mores with milk chocolate and marshmallows melted and roasted in a cast iron pan. We dipped the delicious blend with graham crackers right from the cast iron pan.

Here is a picture of our daughter Amanda and her sheepdog, Daphne, who stayed in on a Saturday night because we were baking in the Roundboy.
